The program opened with an amazing Power Point presentation set to the song Thank God For Kids sung by the Oak Ridge Boys. As I watched the Power Point I could see how much growth Ruby has made over the past year. She has grown so much! Especially in her personality. She is so outgoing and is the light of the classroom with her huge smile and big brown eyes.
Following the power point the class did a little performance centered around the Eric Carle books Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? & Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear? Ruby made for an adorable Purple Cat!
The class also sang "Five Little Monkeys" & "What Color are You Wearing?"
After the performance there were activity tables set up in the commons area. I took Ruby and JohnMichael around to each station. Their favorites included frosting cookies and playing memory. JohnMichael's attention was focused on his friend Charlie and a puppy that came to visit for the afternoon. I think Charlie and JohnMichael will make for a good pair next year with Mrs. Balvanz.

Ruby you were the star of the show & a treasure to our lives. We love you! Keep up the good work -- I know you will be a great kindergartner.
Mrs. Reichert and Mrs. White have done an amazing job all year long and capped it off with one of the best school programs I have been to! Thank you for all your love, support and hard work throughout the year.
