Tuesday was all about Luke -- He turned 7! He was so excited for his day to FINALLY arrive! He took cupcakes to share with his class with special "invisible" sugar sprinkled on top. As Luke describes, "It was magical!" I "saved" him from the bus ride home and made a special pit stop at Kwik Star for a drink and treat of his choice. Our next stop was home to play a round of video games before heading out for a special birthday dinner. Luke invited Daniel along to share in his evening out and choose to dine at his favorite restaurant IHOP! Yummy! What a feast the boys had pancakes, eggs and bacon along with an appetizer basket of chicken strips, onion rings and cheese sticks! Not to mention the added treat of white pop! We then headed over to the mall where Luke picked out a camera all for his own. On to home we went for chocolate fudge cake and "birthday" flavored ice cream that tasted like cotton candy. Yummy! Yummy for our tummies! The evening ended with opening presents which included an IPOD and a special "tool" box that he can lock up all his treasured trinkets!
Thank you to all for the wonderful birthday wishes and all the gifts! Especially the watch in which I am told is "way cool!"
