Timber

Chad is the one cut wonder when it comes to trimming trees. Which is fine and dandy until you have to pick up the limbs and haul them to the burn pile! We had a working weekend and I have to admit we got a lot more done than I expected. We all had a positive working attitude and had fun getting the job done. All four of the older boys -- yes, even little Daniel -- took turns "driving" the mower and trailer full of limbs out to the burn pile. I do think Daniel, Luke and I however have whip lash from James' driving --- he has a major lead foot and tends to look for things to run into!

We have a massive pile to burn and Daniel can not wait -- that is his special time with Dad! The two of them sit endlessly chatting it up as they "monitor" the flames.
